#1 last history element missing after su

Let's say this is my fish history:
cd ~builds/trigger
pwd
bauerbill -S trigger
su

After "su" I press <up> and expect the last history element to appear (bauerbill -S trigger), but instead, the one before the last shows up (pwd).
