Hi, I'm using the install guide at http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum/index.php?title=Installation_Overview
I followed it pretty carefully, when I get to the install step, I get this:
[root@dune FOIAVistA20060615]# ./vista --install /home/vista/myVistA/
Xdialog: Error initializing the GUI...
Do you run under X11 with GTK+ v1.2.0+ installed ?
%GTM-F-KILLBYSIGSINFO1, GT.M process 11456 has been killed by a signal 11 at address 0x09388050 (vaddr 0x09388050)
That shell script assumes an X environment and Xdialog at least to install GT.M. Since neither is required to install and run GT.M, if you want to install in a non-X non Xdialog environment, please look at the shell script and modify it to not use Xdialog - the script is very straightforward.
Note that http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum/index.php?title=Software_Development_%28WG1%29_Version_Control_%28T3%29 might be a little more appropriate to setting up a development environment with a FOIA VistA SemiVivA release. Also, look at the release notes or the announcement of the release (http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=585447).
Note that if you are running Fedora Core 5, you will need to configure, turn off or tweak SE Linux. There is another post in the forums that discusses what needs to be done.
