I would like to install GT.M on my Ubuntu Linux installation.

I have downloaded and extracted files from gtm_V53002_linux_i686_src.tar.gz.

The README says that to install GT.M, I must ALREADY have GT.M installed.  It instructs me to look on sourceforge.net for an appropriate binary if I do not already have GT.M installed.  I have been unable to locate any GT.M binaries.

    Please help.  Thank you.

To build GT.M from sources requires an existing GT.M binary for a bootstrapping step.  Why are you unable to locate GT.M binaries?  The latest binaries are http://downloads.sourceforge.net/fis-gtm/gtm_V53002_linux_i686_pro.tar.gz
