#26 MUPIP redirection of STDOUT

It appears that MUPIP does not support the redirection
and piping available in Linux. I have a need to run an
unattended MUPIP -INTEG -FULL > INTEG.TXT
but the output always goes to the terminal where it
was submitted.

    Hi Kevin,

This is a known limitation/feature of the various GT.M
utilities (lke, dse, mupip). They all use the same output
mechanism as the error messages. Thus, all output is
channeled through stderr instead of stdout. If you redirect
stderr instead of stdout, you should get the results you
    are looking for.
