OK, I just ran some more tests, just fired up the GUI from the shell and it spits out this: [g6avk:Mon Mar 19 20:29:27 @~]$ sudo firestarter Firewall started Error reading /proc/net/ip_conntrack: No such file or directory Error reading /proc/net/ip_conntrack: No such file or directory Looks like the netfilter changes (renaming) are the problem, IE its now called "nf_conntrack" and a cat of /proc/net/nf_conntrack shows the missing info. http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/1/9/217 Not sure how to get around this one and what else it may affect in FS.
