[Firebird-odbc-devel] ODBC for FireBird for Windows Vista

I need ODBC for FireBird for Windows Vista:

 I tested Firebird 2 release Candidate 4 on Windows Vista beta 2.
 I installed the driver from the Firebird_ODBC_2.0.0-Win32.exe, which
gives me ODBC driver (2.0.0.142).

 I can get in contact with my database via the firebird server via the
 network from a Win 2000 PC with Borlands Database Explorer, so my
 conclusion is the database server is running on the windows Vista pc.

 I create a System DNS entry and tries to "test" the connection, but it
does not find the
 same database as above. (failed to connect to database)

whats wrong?
