[Firebird-net-provider] Connect to Embedded Firebird Server

I just started to use the Embedded Firebird Server with a VB.NET project.

Is it possible to connect to an embedded server without specifying the
startup database name?

My current connect string is:

Database=EMPLOYEE.FDB;User=SYSDBA;Password=masterkey;Dialect=3;ServerType=1;

Without Database=EMPLOYEE.FDB I get an error saying that it is an invalid
connection string.

I would like to connect to the embedded database and create a new DB without
specifying the name before hand.
