Hi, I have an application which works with a Firebird 1.5 database thanks to an ODBC driver (Firebird ODBC driver 1.2). In this application, I have several kinds of SQL statements : tables names and fields name can be in upper case, or in lower case, with "" or not. For instance: select "firstname" from "client"; (1) OR select "FIRSTNAME" from "CLIENT"; (2) OR select firstname from client; (3) OR select FIRSTNAME from CLIENT; (4) If I create my tables with specifying the name in lower case and in " ", only statements of kind (1) runs. If I create them without " ", only the statements (2), (3), (4) run. I would like to know if there is a solution to make all these statements be accepted. (Can we modify the case sensitivity? Is an other driver ODBC which could allow it?, ...) Thanks for your help. Ben. |
