Seems it's partially fixed now.

http://firebird.sourceforge.net and =
http://firebird.sourceforge.net/index.html redirect nicely, but =
http://firebird.sourceforge.net/index.php gives a 404.

Or maybe someone is working on it right now and I'm speaking to soon.
