Please read my message in firebird-admin. This change has unearthed many worms! The worst is that it has required us to change our DNS servers for *everything* (not just the jaybirdwiki subdomain). The change is reputed to happen within three days (from today). From the online help at stargate, it also seems that the change to the jaybirdwiki subdomain will not take effect unless we have BOTH an A record and a CNAME record. According to them, the A record must be present as "glue" for the domain name resolution. Currently there is only the CNAME record. So please decide which IP address you want to have in the A record. We can change it later if you move the destination server again... Helen |
