[Firebird-website] firebird support PHP4 / apache redhat????

Any can help me here?

   I try to Install interbase support for PHP3 in my RedHat 6.2 box .
  I install  both source code off php and apache then make ./configure and
some tricks catched from the web.
 but php3 dont , recognize "ibase_ " commands.

any one know if for this particular linux install i need some trick?
