Helen, Just on time for Big Change to Firebird's web site :-) On 3 Jan 2002, at 18:30, Helen Borrie wrote: > Of special interest will be: > > the Really Useful pages I'm not sure. I think that this kind of stuff belongs to sites like IBPhoenix. Not because it's doesn't fit for FB site, but because someone have to maintain it, and we haven't anyone to do so (if you're not willing to keep up with it), while sites like IBP are dedicated to that. BTW, IBPhoenix would be pleased to merge this page(s). I don't like to see this page suffering, that's all. Comments ? > the Documentation Index Great page tree! You forgot to mention IBDI Developer Register :-) It's very valuable resource that's deserve further maintenance and development. Also the list of Open Source projects would fit nicely to FB site. > These are all static pages which use the same gifs for navigation. > All I need to do is swap out the little "IBDI" badge and swap in > a substitute involving the Firebird logo... That's great, but I'd prefer the embedded format :-) i.e. no HTML header/footer or sidebars, just content of <body> tag. > Pavel, let me know how you want me to proceed. I don't have > access to the web area... Give me a day or two to prepare the basic framework & layout for New Site. I'll inform you all as I'd kicking it along. If you haven't installed Apache + PHP (even for Windows) already, it's right time to do so :-) You don't need the MySQL, as we'll move away from phpNuke in favour to more slick (and hacker proof) design. BTW, if you're a project member (aren't you?), you can access FB's web area through ssh and scp. The best windows tool for secure file transfer between our web site and your computer is iXplorer (http://i- tree.org). Best regards -- Pavel |
