[Firebird-net-provider] Encoding by field implementation question

Hello:

I'm thinking on implement encoding handling by field, i have read in a message of 

Nickolay Samofatov in the Jaybird list that for char and varchar fields, character set 
and collation information is sent in the sqlsubtype, but first i want to know opinions :)

I think this is interesting, because it would allow to match Firebird, that allow different 
charsets for each field, what do you think ??.
