[Firebird-devel] Parse.y, parse.c

For some years, parse.c was created only on Solaris (or was
it HP? ... no, not HP), because that particular yacc accepted
the .y file and others did not.  This spring, we tried a few
other yaccs ... the platforms escape me at the moment ...
cleaned up a few "quirks" in parse.y and had it generally
working.

What I'm trying to say is that parse.y is not guaranteed to
get along with just any yacc.
