It does work in 1.5 if I don't touch the property in the designer. If I touch it, I get the same exception at design time. When you say this is the expected behavior do you mean it's a known bug? Also, playing a little more with 1.5, I noticed that the Parameters = property in the FbCommand does not get persisted (if I save and reopen the = project, it's all gone).
