I got them working now.  I upgraded to Firebird 1.5 and now my select * from 
procedures work.  The inserting procedures don't work though.  I thought 
there might be a versioning conflict, but I got them all ok now, and still 
get this error

I get this error:

SQLDA missing or incorrect version, or incorrect number/type of variables
