[Firebird-net-provider] Does Firebird provider support 6.x Open Source Interbase on W2K?

I am running a mixed environment of Classic W2K and .Net W2K on a server.   Currently use the IBOLEDB driver to interface to Interbase 6.X Open Source in Classic and .NET ODBC provider through EasySoft ODBC on the .NET side.   Would like to replace the ODBC link with an Interbase ADO.Net provider capability.  Can the Firebird.Net provider do this?
