[Firebird-net-provider] Can I receive notifications of Events?

Hello,

    I am just starting to use the Firebird database and am using the .NET
component.  Can I receive notifications for when the database (A table or
Row) changes and react to them in my code.  I am not very experienced with
databases and I am not sure if this is the same thing as "triggers".  If not
with the .Net component maybe with another component?  Does anyone have any
Ideas?
