Try omitting the Dialect setting completely.

True, but the setting is only meaningfull to IB 6.0, IB 5.x doesn't know
anything about the setting.

By the way, you should **really** upgrade to IB 5.6.  IB 5.5 was a very
poor excuse for a software lease -- full of bugs.
