This is a problem I have encountered as well. I work extensively with PowerBuilder. The PowerBuilder IDE has a database module (or painter as they call it) that works with several catalog tables it creates. The SQL PowerBuilder uses to create these tables is lower case. In my situation the tables were created by PowerBuilder using the Gemini driver (which allows lower case). When using the IBPhoenix driver to connect to the same database PowerBuilder tries to access the tables via lowercase SQL. This obviously results in an error and means PowerBuilder cannot be used normally with this driver. Having the driver preserve the case of the original SQL would be a great help.
