you are right.

By assigning:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Seagate Software\Crystal
Reports\DatabaseOptions\OuterJoin = "odbcjdbc 'Firebird/InterBase(r)
driver'"

both old and new driver works correctly.
