However, somebody needs to write it. It is a fairly straightforward project. The code for the MySQL driver has been published. There is a lot of experience with writing to the Firebird API. But a months work is probably needed for a project like this. If anyone wants to take it on I believe that Firebird would happily include it as part of the project and provide help in writing and testing it. But it really needs someone to take charge, write most of the code and see it through to completion.
