Let's try to walk before we can run.

I don't entirely see the necessity of this. Setting up editors is a lot 
easier compared to for example Docbook, but if you want you can always 
contribute a setup :).

Alternatively, you could always test if using the GitHub editor is 
sufficient: it doesn't support side-by-side preview, but it does render 
a preview of the asciidoc file on a separate tab.
