I have firebird 1.5 with Interbase installed about 10 years ago on at least 4 machines. The machines are IBM M58ps and they house the productions scans with millions of records. There are at least 4 IBM M58p machines that are working together and several (over 50) access databases that are linked to the one or more of the 4 M58p machines. My problems are as follows: One of the M58p has .gdb files that we cannot find the source that is writing to the files all day, every day. There is a fbserver.exe app and fbguard.exe app that is running non-stop. In the firebird folder on the c:\ drive resides the firebird log file and an .evn (not .env) file and a .lck file. In the IB folder on the c:\drive resides the .gdb files. All files and logs are updated everyday. My question is what do I need or how do I find out what is writing to these files. I've checked the IB Consoles setups and log files for the 4 computers and no luck. Thank you in advance. Sorry so long. ======================================================================== This message (including any attachments) contains information that may be confidential and/or privileged.
