Moderators don't ban you for posting links (except if it is spam), but 
getting enough of your answers deleted - by the community - with a 
negative score will get you an automatic answer ban.

Stack Overflow has rules and expectations of questions and answers, and 
one of them is that an answer should be self-contained. External links 
are allowed, but the answer should not rely on that link.
