Hi, I am agree with Mark. Ideally, people from SO should be directed to firebirdsql.org, to specific documentation chapter/page/example (which is incomplete now). However, SO does not like such links (anybody can get a ban from the moderator who is slightly upset due to cold coffee he got in starbucks), so the only productive way to work there is actually answer each question (as Mark does all the time - thanks for this). Another thing to discuss - turn firebird-support into social hub with web, mobile and messenger interface (and with existing email interface, of course), and insert links to it into every Firebird installer, in order to capture all users and land them to firebird-support instead of FAQ sites.
