I did visit that page before but decided not to follow the instructions because it was for Beta/RC versions. Installed that stuff now. Yes, it works, but (for me) it's very counterintuitive. Too used to XXE I guess. Also, if I import and re-export, or if I make a simple new DocBook file, it sometimes exports broken DocBook XML. BTW, to everybody who's going to follow the instructions on that webpage: under "Creating a new DocBook filter" they swapped the import and export stylesheets.
