[Firebird-odbc-devel] firebird transactions and odbc driver

Hi,

I was experimenting with the firebird odbc driver.
There is an option under transactions for "read (default write)?"
What is this for and how does it work?
I don't want to have transactions for reads but for inserts, updates
and deletes.
Is it ok to do this?
I am using Access 2010 along with the odbc driver on windows 7 prof.
