I am not sure that is the best way to implement, but probably the easiest.  
Other ways could become one of the replication mode (which is now in  
general rudiments not) or roll forward on the basis of the transaction  
log, which is also not available. In any case, even if in the future  
receive a mechanism to ensure the same opportunities that would not be  
worse.
