please ignore my previous message because I was able to find a solution to
the problem.
Here are the steps to solve this issue in case someone else has the same
problem:

Go to Microsoft Sql Server 2008 feauture pack download center
http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/confirmation.aspx?id=16978

I am not sure which one solved the problem (I think one of the first 2) but
you can download and install all of them and try to see if the error goes
away, because restart is not required:

Microsoft® System CLR Types for SQL Server® 2008 R2
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 Native Client
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 Shared Management Objects
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 ADOMD.NET
Microsoft® Analysis Services OLE DB Provider for Microsoft® SQL Server®
2008 R2
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 Analysis Management Objects
