Such names are very good for search engines optimization.
If you need short urls, let's do them through redirects

I'm updating links in the Quick Start Guides and stumble upon the following new URLs:

  http://www.firebirdsql.org/en/interbase-public-license/
  http://www.firebirdsql.org/en/initial-developer-s-public-license-version-1-0/

The first one is clear, but already too long for my liking for such a central document that is the target of numerous links. The second is outright horrible.

Is there something we can do about this? The following would make me perfectly happy:

  http://www.firebirdsql.org/idpl/
