This design was available for review since December. Where were you during last months with design suggestions?

We will run it as is asap, all improvements will be done after launch (and after thorough discussion, be prepared to protect your thoughts with prooflinks and serious arguments).

I got a bit stuck as well as I'm used to simply hitting the drop-downs on the 
old site and going STRAIGHT to the area I need. At least three steps are needed 
now to get there. So why can't THAT simply functionality be retained?

At the moment on the whole I'd prefer to maintain access to the old layout. The 
functionality lost is more of a problem to me than the 'nice new style'.
