Just an initial idea, that can be discussed and enhanced: 1) Open Source tools should be listed for free 2) Free (but not open source) should be listed also for free, but separated from Open Source tools. 3) Commercial would be listed without fee, if author is regular Sponsor or FF member (voting member minimum), otherwise, fee is required. If no one meets the requirements, a small note can be included in the page, like: "You can Google for a list of commercial third party tools" Page structure could be Open Source tools ... Commercial tools (meeting the above requirements) ... Free tools ... We don't have enough Open Source tools for all "tools categories" so, including free (but not open source) tools will give visitor more options. It would be bad if visitor comes to page to search for some tool (ie: administration tool, replicator, etc), and find none available. As we know, Firebird doesnt include any of these tools in the installer, so we need to make it easy for the new user to find the third party options. []s Carlos H.
