AFAIK those setting in odbad32 panel have nothing to do with transaction
isolation.  Not sure why you didn't get the record lock problem in earlier
versions if those read/nowait options in odbc admin are all that you had tweaked.
I guess you can ask in firebird support forum for how to set the isolation
level that you wanted but not so sure if crystal report will provide a chance for
you to execute that required sql statements.
