Hi Lester,

Unfortunately, Firebird's is not the only affected tracker. It seems 
that spammers have develop a range of "tools" to create new tracker 
items and add comments to existing one. Beside JIRA, they also have 
"port" for Trac, and who knows what else. I'm subscribed to many 
trackers, and it's spam everywhere.
