Me too. I'm quite willing to help with tedious tasks, like cleaning up 
the markup of current contents, but only if the decision-making process 
is public. One thing is having the effort managed by a steering group, 
another thing is having the decision making  hidden behind closed doors.
Successful open source projects are managed in the open, even if the 
final decisions are taken by the individuals that accept responsibility 
for certain areas.
