Hi, I am failing to achieve an odbc connection using the 64-bit firebird driver on windows server 2008. Can anyone understand why? Settings>Control Panel>ODBC>System DNS Tab>Add DataSourceName=SMSReminders Driver=IscDbc Description=SMSReminders Database=D:\Program Files (x86)\SpectraSoft\Appointments\UEALive\APPOINTMENTSPRO.GDB Database Account=SYSDBA Password=masterkey [No other fields changed from defaults] On clicking 'Test Connection' error message is produced: "Open database 'D:\program files (x86)\SpectraSoft\Appointments\UEALive\APPOINTMENTSPRO.GDB' failed" This happens irrespective of the location of the gdb file. Firebird is running correctly and the gdb file can be accessed correctly by e.g. IBConsole Additional Info: 1) when turning on the ODBC trace tool and testing the connection, the log file does not contain any data. 2) When running procmon and testing the connection, no activity is visible Thanks, Jerry Jerry Dr Jerry Sanders Endeavour House 11 Genotin Terrace Enfield Middlesex EN1 2AF UK 0845 165 9155 *********************************************************************** This e-mail (and any attachment) is confidential and may be legally privileged.
