Thanks for answering. I´ll try to be more specific:

- To use a ODBC DSN, you need:
  1) The ODBC driver registered (and the fbclient, etc)
  2) The DSN (Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Data Sources 
(ODBC)/System DSN

**** For (1) the following is created at registry:

My question is at (2), specifically the value 
"Driver"="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\OdbcFb.dll". Thay value, is used or 
not? (at the C++ driver code, I'm not a C programmer and I wasn't able 
to check if it is used somewere).
