I can get you a sample application. It will require that you have the Crystal Reports run time environment installed. Will that be OK? On Windows XP, everything works just fine and connections open and close without issue. On Windows Server 2003, connections do not close. This results in hundreds of instance of fb_inet_server.exe and ultimately in a system crash. Any ideas why these connections would not be closing? Hi, Your information is insufficient. I need more information about how I can reproduce this problem on a simple example. I think this problem can happen only in a case when client software do not close connections. You can enable ODBC trace in [ODBC Data Source administrator/Tracing]. In the trace log file there should be function calls [SQLDisconnect] for every [SQLDriverConnect]. There should not be such problem in this case. And more: 1) What protocol does you use (local or TPC/IP)? 2) What is a system crash? Blue screen?
