I tested running isql from a command window, and Firebird can indeed create a database in the temp_directory and the database_location. But, it does not appear to work in qmEditor. Perhaps I have created a test that is inherently flawed and will not run anyway? Could you give me the steps for creating a test that involves a Firebird database that I could create here, just to know that I am not chasing a phantom error? That would be very helpful. If I can't get this going soon, I will have to abandon qmTest/qmEdit and continue my search for a testing tool for Firebird. I have already spent way too much time on this... Thanks!
