Bugs item #909891, was opened at 2004-03-04 08:10 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109028&aid=909891&group_id=9028 Category: API/Client library Group: Initial Bug Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Eric Boyajian (ericboyajian) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: FB 1.5 API/Client library functions behave unexpectedly Initial Comment: API function calls generated by GPRE do not behave as expected. C programs with embedded SQL that require GPRE preprocessing worked with FB 1.0 but do not work with FB 1.5. Two problem functions: 1. The isc_embed_dsql_prepare() function is failing with an isc_status vector value of -901 instead of the expected 0. This seems to occur only on the Windows platform. 2. The isc_detach_database() causes an exception/segmentation fault on both Windows and Linux. Test platform: Windows 2000 SP4 FB 1.5.0.4306 Item 2 appears to have been previously reported in the Field-Test bug tracker ID 837925. The attached file illustrates the problem. All the API function calls should return a isc_status vector of value 0 and not cause exceptions/segmentation faults. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109028&aid=909891&group_id=9028 |
