Lookup in firebird.conf if no port/service is specified in the connection string (as it was intended in v1.5)? Or ignore firebird.conf settings (keep v1.0 behaviour)? If the latter, what should we do with IPC? Since you've started this thread, I'd like to see the answers ;-) Or at least thoughts/comments... Dmitry |
