You are right, but you are thinking that you (or you application) are the only one that access the database, and this is not right every time. In a large database sometimes you have more than one developer and different applications, you can't cover all the items. Or simple a end user discover ibconsole and start playing browsing data. Think that I'm talking about large volume transaction databases. Firebird should be safe from dummies attack.:)) Christian |
