You may not need it. The platform specific database is for tests that 
need to be re-written to suit a particular platform. For example a test 
that used multi-threading may need to be written slightly differently.

I've never looked into this in detail. However, I would start with 
making a copy of the existing Linux/Solaris database and runnign the 
tests to see what happened.
