Hi Im a fair way though validating the linux builds through the tcs suite. And am fairly happy that we haven't dented the product too much. I now get one error from the test suite, C_DSQL_RI_ALT_ADD and even that seems to be related to a fix. There is a bit more work to be done, but Im feeling comfortable enough that there are no major problems so I've marked the version in the CVS tree as T1_0_0_Beta2 from 8-Aug-2001. The linux builds should come out shortly. If any of the build platforms need to sneek something in, or need a change to be applied to the build, we can do it a few ways, (probably commit it as normal, then we will release src + patch through sourceforge with the binary) anyway contact me to see what we do. There is a bit of activity going on in testing at the moment, from a number of different sources, (good to see :-), and that will result in a RC1 Release Candiate build. Im reluctant to say exacty how long, since it's all on peoples spare time, and I can't speak on their behalf. But I believe that within 3mths version 1.0 will be out the door. As a matter of tidying up, I've also put a tag in retrospectively for T0_9_5_Beta1, (18-May-2001 was the date) but the build number will define exactly what version you have.
