Sounds good to me. BTW, at the moment we don't even have mod_rewrite
loaded, and .htaccess files are ignored (AllowOverride None), except
in userdirs.
I don't know if there are any (security?) objections to this type of
config change. While we're talking about configuration, myself I'd
like to be able to restrict web access to certain files and directories
through .htaccess files.
