Hi all,
Thank you for your feedback ! As you may noticed, I'm not great at
web design and content production, but I'm learning :-) I'm happy
that no one found overall structure confusing or hard to navigate, as
it was my primary focus along with security and easiness of
maintenance without db backend. Actually, we're on half way to the
last, as I'm going to introduce some automatic to page generation
in repeatable areas like FAQ, List & Newsgroups, Documentation,
Really useful, Rabbit holes and news system. I also put on task
my brother who is sometimes better at web design / PHP to
reimplement the comment system (this time for any page / topic
we would like to set it on and without db :-) and user accounts.
This hopefully come to fruition early next week (at least the
comment system). The whole web framework is designed to be
updated manually now, but with web interface for most changing
parts in mind. Did I mentioned security ? Yes, it's built do be
hacker proof from ground zero :-)
Well, I hope that we can come to public with complete basic site at
10th, January and it seems that we can make it. Thanks.
BTW, I'll make all php scripts for new site available as single
download for anyone who wants to play with it, and will update it
every tim I'll update the /newsite directory (it's a little bit premature
to put it up to CVS).
Cheers
