Yep, it's normal behavior. URL's without explicit "http://" are treated 
in context of current site. It's failure of users who enter bad url's. 
Well, I can try to correct it in php script.

OK not that important, I've first seen the error and just started to write
the "error report". Next time I better keep my mouth shut ;-)
