[Firebird-odbc-devel] Time part gets truncated

Hi,
While working with the driver, it seems that when passing a date time 
parameter, it truncates the time part  and only the date part is stored 
in the DB.
I am using Delphi 6, ADO. Do you have any solutions, or is it my 
mistake? or Should I have to change some setting?

This error seems to occur in the latest version of ODBC driver.

Hi,
It is a known problem. ADO transfers ftDateTime parameter into 
SQLBindParameter (ODBC driver level) as SQL_C_TYPE_DATE (not 
SQL_C_TYPE_TIMESTAMP).
I can recommend to use String parameters for operations with DateTime 
values in ADO...
