[Firebird-odbc-devel] Latest full windows installer

Hi

I note that on the IBPhonix and www.firebirdsql.org the latest windows 
install is from June last year.  Is this really the latest full install 
version?


I am looking at upgrading a clients system.  Our threaded server 
application uses crystal reports to print, which in turn connects to the 
Firebird DB via an older version of the ODBC driver.  At a very busy 
site they are getting ODBC / print errors from Crystal reports.  Which 
version of the ODBC drivers should we be using?

Yes, never mind its beta status, it is good for production use.

There used to be two versions of the ODBC driver (one called MT and one 
not) do you know if there still is or have they been merged into one?

Yes, they have been merged. The default is to use MT, you may change it in the 
odbc config screen.

The MT portion has been much improved so that it is only a few percent slower 
than the non-MT. ymmv
